If you’re interested in joining an innovative project in wellness for under-served populations, consider joining the C.A.R.E. Board of Directors! We are re-emerging our efforts to develop a Foundational Board of Directors from October 1, 2024 through September 30, 2026. Applications being accepted now through Sunday, September 22, 2024. Board member applications will be reviewed, candidates will be interviewed, and attend onboarding training before dues submission and swearing in October 1, 2024.

Annie will guide us through the 9-day agenda, the fast and nutritional detox, foods to avoid during our healing circle, the journal prompts that encourage reflection, and discuss participation in guided meditations and yin yoga, in the pursuit to help us heal and thrive. This in-person event will take place at 2016 Elliott Ave NW, where you'll be surrounded by GRuB's farmland and soothing sounds of nature while we gather in peer support, communion, and immerse ourselves in holistic self-care. This experience will include an intimate nature walk at Olympia's beloved Squaxin Park. We'll discuss philosophy, wellness, foraging and sustainability, enjoy a meditation workshop, & be introduced to the nonprofit, C.A.R.E. Your experience will include a mindful walk, group meditation, with an option to independently continue exploring more of the Budd Inlet.
